New WildWatch iRecord activity

New WildWatch iRecord activity goes live

28 November 2019

As part of the legacy of both our WildWatch and Cold-blooded and Spineless projects, we have created the WildWatch iRecord activity, to replace the current WildWatch recording website. This allows recorders to continue submitting and browsing local wildlife records while connecting to the wider recording community.

All WildWatch users will now need to join the iRecord activity, using the following instructions. If you are a Wildwatch users and do not yet have an iRecord account, you will need to create one. Please use the same email address as the one your WildWatch account is registered to. This is free to set up. Once created, your iRecord account will automatically include all your records entered via the WildWatch website.

The following link will take you to a joining page for the WildWatch iRecord activity, where you can log-in or register to iRecord, if you have not already done so. Join the North Pennines AONB WildWatch iRecord activity by clicking the ‘Join’ button: https://www.brc.ac.uk/irecord/join/wildwatch-north-pennines-aonb

Once joined, you can access the activity at any time by clicking on the ‘Activities’ tab at the top of iRecord, where it will be listed under ‘My Activities’. If you have any problems or need further guidance in joining the WildWatch iRecord activity, please get in touch with us via: info@northpenninesaonb.org.uk. If you have WildWatch and iRecord accounts registered to different email addresses and need them to be linked, please also get in touch.
