What we do
Fellfoot Fables: a virtual creative writing series
The North Pennines AONB Partnership is inviting you to take part in Fellfoot Fables, a free creative writing series. This project is being delivered by Eden Valley-based poet and novelist, Katie Hale. Fellfoot Fables is a project of the Fellfoot Forward Landscape Partnership scheme, we want those involved to look closely at their own corner of the North Pennines AONB – to record their experience of home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Katie has produced a series of sessions, delivered through videos and worksheets, to help participants produce a poem or piece of creative prose, exploring their immediate environment. The sessions are tailored for both primary age, KS2 children and the wider community. The following link includes all the materials you need to get started. Schools will be asked to register with us. We will share work produced from Fellfoot Fables on our website, social media channels and the Fellfoot Forward Facebook group.
