We have produced guidance for organisers of outdoor recreation events in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO Global Geopark. This guidance covers topics such as benefits to the local area, selecting routes, protecting the landscape and wildlife, and communicating the area’s designation to participants and visitors.
