This 3 mile (4.8km) circular walk will introduce you to some of the special features of the landscape around Allenheads. By spotting clues in the moors, fields and buildings you’ll find out how to read the landscape and discover more about its fascinating past.
Start location: Starting from Allenheads car park (NY860454 / NE47 9HJ) in the East Allen Valley.
Terrain: Boggy ground, off-road sections, on-road sections.
