Loading Events

This event promises to be a spectacular evening of astronomy. With no Moon in the sky, it is the perfect time to look out for the stunning Milky Way, which is high overhead, and the planets Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. Attendees can then use the robotic telescope to scour the skies for even more jewels of the cosmos. Then it’s back into the new, state-of-the-art classroom for a hot drink, more astronomy photography questions, and boundless knowledge and inspiration.

Pre booking is essential: book via https://www.grassholmeobservatory.com/book/.  Tickets cost £20 (adult); £17 (concession)

This event is part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival running from 22-31 October 2021 – www.NorthPenninesStarFest.org.uk #NorthPennStarFest21 #NPennDarkSkies
