Bowlees Visitor Centre
At Bowlees Visitor Centre we have regular exhibitions in our gallery space of work by local artists and photographers. We know that many of you will be missing this work inspired by the landscapes of the North Pennines AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark, so we are working on some virtual exhibitions.
Richard is a regular volunteer litter picker at Bowlees, Low Force and the Pennine Way towards High Force. He is also a keen photographer with a great fondness for Teesdale.
Nick was due to exhibit at Bowlees in April 2020. His work reflects a lifelong love of Teesdale and invites people to get to know the landscape, flora and fauna of this area.
Ann was due to exhibit at Bowlees in June 2020. She draws her inspiration from the remote Northern landscape, the wild places, ravaged by time and weather.
Susanna was due to exhibit at Bowlees in May 2020. Living in Weardale, Susanna is inspired by the North Pennines landscape and she also loves to visit and paint coastal scenes. She works mainly in oils and acrylics.
