A stunning self-catering cottage in Upper Weardale

Beckleshele self catering cottage is off the beaten track at 1400 ft high in the atmospheric moorlands of Upper Weardale in the heart of the North Pennines. It is a converted lead miners cottage and is on the site of the highest known Norman summer hill farm.

The accommodation for four to six people is four star rated and has been awarded a silver in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

High standard

It is furnished to a high standard with two bedrooms (1 double with ensuite shower. 1 twin bedded); a separate bathroom; a large well equipped kitchen/diner with open fire; an upstairs lounge with magnificent views across Weardale and a double sofa bed for extra guests.
