Heritage services
A heritage service runs between Bishop Auckland West, Wolsingham, Frosterley and Stanhope on Saturdays and Sundays from Easter until the end October, plus Fridays during the summer holiday period. For timetables and special events throughout the year visit the website or call at Stanhope station. Ticket office, café and shop at Stanhope Station. Please note, the Weardale Railway platform at Bishop Auckland is a short walk away from the Northern Rail station.
