Killhope Museum

Killhope is a multi-award winning Victorian mining museum, offering a grand day out for all. The museum is a Gold Award holder in the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS).

One of our guides will take you on an unforgettable mine tour. Find your own minerals as you work as a washerboy and see working water wheels in action. 2012 exhibitors include, 'A Miscellany of Museum Marvels'; treasures from the regional museum's archives that illuminated the lives of Victorian people, and 'Rags to Riches'; traditional and contemporary rugs and mats.

Walk the woodland trails to see our red squirrels. Visit the shop and cafe to complete your great day out.
